An educational blog for children and adults

Transformer toys and mechanical robotic activity

I am writing two posts today as I missed one yesterday.

Now, this is the time that I show some support for the boys and the boys-at-heart. A while ago, I came across an article of an educational exhibition organised by MIT (Massechussets Institute Technology) in Singapore. The exhibition is about introducing mechanical production of robotic toys for children to assemble. I tried to research for similar projects in Malaysia on the Internet but couldn’t find any. Instead, I was suprised to chance upon a couple of websites created by Transformer toys and robot fans in Malaysia: RoboRoom and TransMY. I didn’t know that there is such a huge followers, most were grownups, displaying their toy collections and other robotic toys.

I would really appreciate if anybody has any exciting information regarding this kind of activity.
