Chinese Drums

Have you ever wondered the meaning behind the art of playing chinese drums, the drums used during Chinese Dragon Dance ceremony? Almost every state has a leading group in order to teach youngsters today the art of this ancient and magical dance.

Readers who have experience in this valuable culture are kindly invited to tell me a thing or two about this art.

  1. Rani, instead of playing the real drum, for little kid or people inexperience in drumming, it is fun to expose to the drum circle activity. See what my little kids in my playgroup did…http://www.demoments.net/blog/?p=499

  3. Hi i am a mum of a seven year old hypher active boy. He was late with developing, meaning he started talking late. he is in grade 1. His teacher complains that his writing is very untidy, does not listen and is some times disruptive in class. She mentioned that he some times baby talks. I notice that he battles to concentrate when I help him with his home work. Please suggest some thing, not associated with any drigs.

  4. Hi ROMI: I responded on your comment in another post. In addition, do focus on your child’s other positive areas, such as his interest, hobbies, social or any other skills. Look into other supplementary activities like extra-curricular activities, music, art and craft etc.
