A Summer Bael story.

Once upon a time, in a faraway land called Bharat or Ancient India, a small but not-so-little girl found a fruit named Bael. The fruit looked and felt like a big rock. For seven days, she stared at the ball-like fruit, not knowing how to eat it.

The villagers have told her many things about the fruit. “Beti (daughter in Hindi), the antioxidants present in this fruit cure gastric ulcer, aid in digestion, and treat diabetes. The laxative property prevents constipation and the anti-fungal components keep infections at bay. We know about this ancient secret many thousand years ago, and now you can find it ar Google.com or https://www.verywellfit.com/the-health-benefits-of-bael-fruit. “

So the small girl brought the fruit back to her house but nobody told her how to eat it. Until one day, a beautiful maiden from another faraway land came to her house.

“Oh, Beti! I can feel your agony. I have learned the art of Bael from a Chinese princess. Let me show you.”

  2. Thank you Mano fo r your detailed comment. Yea, various lessons and activities can be derived from this simple household produce. And one Bael fruit only costs about 10rupees or nearly one Ringgit.

    Love, Rani.
