hi rani,
I am an esol(english as second or other languge) lecturer teaching adults. I have applied montessori methods on these students as they have no L1 literacy. want to know more and how this can be extended as no real work was done for adults sadly.

Ganesh: In Shah Alam, there is a Children’s House at Section 13, managed by Pn Aisha Abdullah. Sorry don’t have contact number and proper address.
SEGI University College (the site address is in the right column of this blog) has established partnership and co-own a few kindergartens, under the name Montessori St Nicholas. As far as I know, there is one in Klang. Call them to find out.

May: A clinical psychologist’s or doctor’s diagnose will tell what is best to enable him to cope with the traditional education system. Another place to start looking for help is also the school’s educational psychologist, who I believe is available in USA compared to Malaysia’s education system. Another place to visit in Kuala Lumpur is http://www.malaysiapsychology.com/index.html, a group of psychologists and therapists are found here.

Pria: Do look at the school’s profiles under the link ‘Malaysia’s Montessori & Non-Montessori Schools’ in the right column of my blog. Call the school, make an appointment with the principal and visit the school. A good school should should allow you to walk around their grounds and entertain any questions you have. All the best in your quest!
